Prologis Inspections Kick Off for a Fourth Year - A Showcase of Innovation and Talent Development

​CBGA has launched its annual Prologis inspection programme, marking the fourth consecutive year of partnering with the global logistics real estate leader to assess their nationwide portfolio. This initiative continues to evolve in both scale and sophistication, reinforcing CBGA’s role as a trusted partner in portfolio assessment and client-driven innovation.
 
This year's inspections span Prologis assets across the UK, with a targeted turnaround time of just six weeks. Speed, however, doesn’t compromise quality, thanks to a bespoke inspection app developed in-house by CBGA. Designed specifically for this programme, the app streamlines data collection, reporting, and quality assurance, raising the bar for how inspection data is gathered and used.
 
The impact of the project goes beyond logistics and buildings. True to our commitment of nurturing the next generation of property professionals, the inspection programme once again provides meaningful work experience to individuals keen to break into the real estate sector. This hands-on opportunity gives participants direct exposure to commercial assets, professional surveying practices, and digital tools, an invaluable head start in a competitive industry.

We are proud to announce that 2025 marks our third consecutive year as a Planet Mark Certified Business, a recognition that reflects our commitment to reducing carbon emissions, generating social value, and actively contributing to the transition toward a net-zero future.

A Testament to Consistent Environmental StewardshipCBGA has once again met Planet Mark’s rigorous certification standards, reducing our absolute Scope 1 and 2 market-based carbon emissions by 7.3% year-on-year. Our measured emissions totalled 32.2 tCO₂e, or 2.6 tCO₂e per employee, across both our Birmingham and London offices. The social value we’ve delivered during this reporting period amounts to £54,529, calculated using the National TOMs framework.

This represents a tangible, ongoing commitment to responsible business practices. Planet Mark’s methodologies are fully aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and demand verified, evidence-backed reporting. Certification requires demonstrable year-on-year improvement, meaning CBGA is not only measuring impact but actively reducing it.

CBGA Appointed Property Managers for Birmingham’s Iconic Latham House

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed to Latham House in Birmingham, on behalf of our esteemed client, BVSC  (Birmingham Voluntary Service Council).

Latham House, located at 33-34 Paradise Street in the heart of Birmingham, is an iconic city centre building known for its elegant Edwardian baroque façade and exceptional development and alternative-use potential. Positioned prominently opposite the dynamic Paradise scheme, Latham House enjoys superb connectivity, being directly adjacent to the Town Hall Metro stop and just a short walk from Birmingham New Street Station. The building spans over 26,653 sq ft across basement, ground, and six upper floors.

We are particularly proud to be assisting BVSC, a renowned charity dedicated to supporting Birmingham's voluntary sector, in maximising the income and value from this significant property. Our management strategies will ensure efficient oversight, operational excellence, and innovative solutions to leverage the full potential of Latham House, thus further supporting BVSC's vital charitable initiatives.

It has also been an absolute pleasure working alongside Peter Fowles, an independent consultant and former colleague from JLL, on this exciting project.

This prime property, owned by a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), is strategically positioned in the heart of the town and occupied by two valued tenants across its three floors.
Ground & First Floor Tenant: The tenant on the ground and first floors is in the final stages of their fit-out, after successfully completing their lease at the end of June. We're excited to see their space come to life and look forward to a long-lasting partnership as they settle in and grow.
We continue to expand our portfolio, ensuring each property is managed with the highest level of care and attention to detail.
